Flaming

We are able to flame-treat plastics to clean parts of contaminates and also improve paint adhesion. Paint has a poor bond to polyolefins, such as polypropylene and polyethylene, so without treatment paint adhesion would not be possible.

Screen/ Pad Printing

Frederick Cooper are able to provide add-on, in-house screen print services and also have close partnerships with outhouse printers to provide pad printing where required.

Laser Etching

Our Laser Etching machines are able to laser-etch a large variety of materials, whether it’s to remove paint to create a logo / text on a backlit button or to etch a serial number in to the substrate.

Polishing

We offer high gloss lacquered, mirror finishes, on any colour including piano black. Most notably we paint and polish exterior Blackware for several luxury automotive manufacturers.

Jig Making

Frederick Cooper’s in-house Engineering team can design and manufacture painting jigs and fixtures to cover any simple or complex requirement.

Bespoke Mask Cutting

Masking can be precisely designed and cut on our laser printers, allowing us to react quickly to any specification changes.

Rapid Prototyping

Process development is at the heart of what we do. With quick turnarounds for samples we can take your project from conception through to production; engineering the perfect paint system to suit. We also have 3D printing capabilities if no samples are available to paint.
